C3CC Paper

CabinThe first thing I liked about camp was the initiatives. I remember when we were doing the spider web and Jared H. crawled under the web and got mud all over his pants. When we were doing the Mohawk walk ( which was one of my favorites) it felt like walking across a tightrope. Another initiative that I liked was the human ladder because when your crawling on it you think you’re going to fall but you don’t. My favorite initiative was the meat grinder, and our task was to was to get on, over, and off without falling.

Something else that was fun at C3CC was the talent show hosted by Meghan K. and Emily G. An act that I liked was the mixed up hands by Rebecca, Meghan, and Catlin where Rebecca’s hands are frivolous. Another act I liked was I’ve Been Waiting For The Shower by Kevin K. and Jared H. When the Eagles song was sang it felt like being at a football game. Finally, last but not least, I remember when four kids imitated the four teachers Mr.Lawrence, Mrs. Ekstrom, Ms. VanOstrand, and Mr. Hetherington, then the teachers imitated four students, and they were Jamie, Mike L., Mike L., and Micaela.

Channel 3 Country Camp

Today we went to CC3C and it was FUN! In my group there was Kevin, Jared H., Jaime, Shelby, Carli, Macy, Mrs. Ekstrom, and of course me. Our first challenge was the swinging log. It was kinda easy but fun. The easiest one was the porthole. Although the three funnest ones were the meat grinder, the Mohawk walk, and the human ladder. The meals a CC3C were really delicious. The turkey and mashed potatoes were the best. All of the skits and songs at the talent show were very good and oddly hysterical. I liked the mixed up hands, 12 days of L.A., jingle bells school remix, and mocking the teachers.

Pretty much CC3C was THE BEST FIELD TRIP EVER!
